We select boards from a variety of wood species that have a rough sawn surface. In the milling process, we set the planer knives to scrape the top of the board, removing some of the surface, while leaving some of the original saw marks. This is a high character floor that is expected to feature nail holes, saw marks, evidence of former insect activity, and other forms of natural or man-made character. No two floors will have the same species mix or the same appearance. Your floor will be completely unique!
