About Us

Used Anew takes pride in repurposing useful materials from unwanted buildings, transforming them into stunning, easy-to-install products that are just right for your home, office, or commercial project.

Our goal is to take the work out of re-use by preparing the materials we save, for easy installation.

Since officially starting our business in May of 2013, Lu and I often talk about how fortunate we have been to find a business we love and believe in, and to have the opportunity to meet and support the hundreds of like-minded people who have become our customers and friends.

I love meeting and brainstorming with customers and find that their enthusiasm is contagious. I’m often just as excited as they are when they leave here with a head full of ideas, a trinket, an armload, or a truckload of treasures.

New Markets

Initially, Used Anew focused on carefully disassembling buildings and funneling the recovered material to lumber consolidators. Materials that weren't of interest to the consolidators were all too common. Larry and LuAnn decided to make new markets for these materials.

Developing User Friendly Products

Larry and LuAnn recognized that not everyone has a workshop in their home, tools, or the time to work with raw, reclaimed materials.  Ideas were developed with area craftsmen to create easy-to-install unique products, ready for anyone to use.

Used Anew has developed a reputation for working collaboratively with architects, designers, and contractors to supply one-of-a-kind  recovered products their clients love, while also helping homeowners and do-it-yourselfers to brainstorm their projects.

IIn addition to creating unique flooring, accent wall & ceiling products, Larry and LuAnn have expanded their creations of custom furniture and cabinetry, utilizing reclaimed materials and steel fabrication. The on-site Show Home & Shoppe provides an opportunity for guests to visit and experience products in person, in a home setting.
